Hi, my name is Reid Columbia. I am a corporate pilot in Atlanta, Georgia. While I love flying, I am perhaps only more passionate about helping you progress in your own aviation journey.

I am fortunate to have earned my Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate as well as five type ratings in business aircraft. I maintain my flight instructor certificate and am authorized to instruct in single-engine, multi-engine, and instrument aircraft. I also have the Advanced Ground Instructor certificate.

Regarding professional development, I earned the National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) designation in 2018. I was able to give back to this excellent program recently by contributing to the “Six Months to CAM” structured program. I am currently pursuing my Master of Business Administration at Penn State University. My focus is strategic leadership.

Winning numerous scholarship in recent years afforded me the opportunity to attend several business aviation leadership courses and even attend basic aerobatic and upset recovery training at Patty Wagstaff Aviation.

I was honored to be recognized by NBAA as a YoPro “Top 40 Under 40” recipient in 2019. In 2019, I was also recognized as a Dr. Tony Kern Award recipient for professionalism in business aviation.

My sincere hope is that I can share my experience with you to help you succeed in the aviation industry. Any success I have enjoyed has been due to excellent guidance and direction from more experienced aviators. Let me know how I can help you on your path. GoEightOh!
